LEA VINETTE, dancer and performer first trained at the conservatories of Nantes followed by Lyon. She then trained in dance and choreography at the ArtEZ school of higher arts in the Netherlands. There she danced pieces by choreographers Amos Ben-Tal, Nicole Beutler, Adam Peterson, and Lucinda Child’s piece “Interior Drama”, and participated in the creation and performing of SOUL#1 audience by the Meyer-Chaffaud company. Since her graduation in 2017, Léa has worked with Liat Magnezy, Ido Batash, Michèle-Anne de Mey, Fatou Traoré, and Rakesh Sukesh. In 2014, Léa met Florence Augendre and discovered her work in fasciapulsology applied to dance. For Léa, this practice becomes a real physical and intellectual research and an important tool in her own creative work. In 2020, Léa follows the training in dance and choreographic practices at Charleroi Danse where she meets Mark Tompkins, Boris Charmatz, Lia Rodrigues, Nora Chipaumire, Sophie Perez and Xavier Boussiron.
Léa is currently working as a performer with Louise Vanneste-Rising Horses (Belgium), Tabea Martin (Switzerland) as well as with with PLAY / Michèle Murray, currently for the project DUOS/ COLLISIONS AND COMBUSTIONS – A CHOREOGRAPHIC COLLECTION FOR THE MUSEUM (2021 -2023).
Léa is developing her own work as a choreographer; she is supported in France and Belgium for the 2022 creation of her first solo Planète A (working title).
